STEAMING

(YONI STEAMING)

AN ANCIENT PRACTICE FOR THE MODERN WOMAN

This is not a wellness trend. Yoni steaming is one of the oldest forms of women & self-
care known to humanity, a practice so deeply woven into the fabric of women &
traditions that its roots can be found across continents, cultures, and centuries. Women
have long gathered around warm, herb-infused steam to tend to their wombs, mark life &
thresholds, and restore balance in the body.

This was not fringe medicine. This was women & medicine, passed down through
grandmothers, midwives, and healers who understood what modern culture has largely
forgotten: that the womb is not a problem to be managed, but a source of profound
wisdom and power.

The Power of Reconnecting with Your Cycle

"As a woman you are coded for power, and the journey to realizing the fullness and
beauty of that power lies in the rhythm and change of your menstrual cycle."- Wild
Power

Our cycles are not an inconvenience. It is an intelligence, a monthly map of your inner
landscape, your energy, your creativity, your intuition, and your capacity for renewal.
When we learn to listen to it rather than suppress it, something shifts. We stop fighting
our nature and begin working with it.

Yoni steaming is one of the most direct and tangible ways to begin that reconnection. It
asks you to slow down, be present, and offer care to a part of your body that has so
often been the site of shame, pain, disconnection, or silence.

What Is Steaming?

Yoni steaming — also known as vaginal steaming, V-steaming, or Peristeam
hydrotherapy — involves sitting or squatting over a gentle steam infused with carefully
selected medicinal herbs. The warmth and plant properties work together to increase
circulation to the pelvic bowl, soften tissue, support the uterine lining, and encourage
the body & natural cleansing processes.

It is a gentle, non-invasive practice with a growing body of testimonial and observational
evidence supporting its effectiveness for a wide range of concerns.

A Note for Women Who No Longer Bleed — or Who No Longer Have a Womb

Yoni steaming is not only for those with an active menstrual cycle. For women in
perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause, it offers a deeply nourishing form
of care — supporting vaginal tissue health, pelvic circulation, and overall womb
vitality. Many women in this season of life report improvements in dryness, comfort,
and a renewed sense of connection to their bodies.

For women who have had a hysterectomy — partial or full — this practice is still
available to you. The vaginal canal, pelvic floor, and surrounding tissue remain, and
steaming can offer gentle support for scar tissue, circulation, dryness, and pelvic
wellbeing. Beyond the physical, many women who have experienced surgical
removal of the womb carry a complex emotional relationship with that loss — one
that is rarely acknowledged or tended to. This practice, and the space we create
together, honours that too.

Your body does not stop being sacred because of what has been removed, what has
changed, or what no longer bleeds. This work meets you
